After-school Explorers Club (Sept & Oct Sessions M &/or W 3:30-5:30)
Join us for an after-school club that celebrates free play and time spent in nature! 🏞️ The kids will lead the way to explore, create, and discover in the natural world up and down the Greenbelt adjacent to Future and Anser Charter Schools. 🌳🌞 After a structured day in school, kids will benefit greatly from the freedom and creativity that unstructured play provides. As the social psychologist and author of The Anxious Generation Jonathan Haidt says, "Free play is nature’s way of teaching children how to get along with others and how to manage themselves." 🌟
Grades: K-6
When: 3:30-5:30 Mondays and/or Wednesdays
Drop Off: Paul will pick up the kids from Future & Anser and will walk them to the Greenbelt to play (If your child does not attend these schools they could be dropped off at Riverfront Park next to the Boys & Girls Club in Garden City so they can walk with us).
Pick Up: Riverfront Park in Garden City
Cost:
September Session = Sept. 4-30th; 1 day/wk = $50; 2 days/wk = $100
October Session = Oct 2-Oct 30th $100; 1 day/wk = $50; 2 days/wk = $100
Both Sessions = 1 day/wk = $75; 2 days/wk = $150
